Login Assistance

When you attempt to login, if you see the message “Login failed for User ID…” this means that you are using either the incorrect user ID or password.
Please click the click on the “Forgot your username or password?” at the to right of the page to confirm.

When you attempt to login, if the screen just refreshes with blank login boxes, the error is most likely a corrupt cookie and can be solved by clearing your cache and/or deleting your cookies.
Instructions for the most popular browsers are below:

1. Clear Your Cache

If you already have cookies enabled, clearing your cache may resolve this problem. Below you’ll find instructions for clearing your cache in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Internet Explorer 6:

* Open IE and click on the “Tools” menu.
* Select “Internet Options.”
* Click on the “General” tab if it isn’t selected already.
* Under the heading “Temporary Internet files,” click “Delete files…” (Note that it can take up to 30 minutes for your computer to delete your cache history.)
* Click on “OK.”

Internet Explorer 7:

* Open IE7 and click on the “Tools” menu.
* Select “Internet Options.”
* Click on the “General” tab if it isn’t selected already.
* Click on the “Delete…” button.
* Under the heading “Temporary Internet files,” click “Delete files…” (Note that it can take up to 30 minutes for your computer to delete your cache history.)
* Click “OK” to exit.

Firefox 2.0:

* Open Mozilla Firefox.
* Click on “Tools” > “Options” > “Advanced.”
* Click on the “Network” tab.
* Under the “Cache” heading, click on the “Clear Now” button.
* Click “OK” to exit.

2. Delete Your Cookies

If clearing your cache doesn’t resolve the problem, you may also want to delete your cookies. To delete your cookies, please follow the steps for your browser.

Delete Production Weekly Cookies
IE6

* Click on Start button, then Search, then For Files.
* Type in *productionweekly* in the “Search for files” box and click on “Search Now”
* From the listing, delete (right click) on any items ending in @productionweekly.txt
* Go to www.productionweekly.com and login (Remember to use the Forgot Password feature if you can’t remember or to confirm your password).

IE7

* Click on “Internet Options” > “General”
* Under “Browsing History” click the button “Settings”
* Click “View Files”
* Look for a cookie file for @productionweekly.com and delete it.
* Close your browser, reopen, go to www.productionweekly.com and login

Delete All Cookies

IE6:

* Select “Tools” > “Internet Options” > “General” again.
* Under the heading “Temporary Internet files,” click on “Delete Cookies…”
* Click “OK” for the “Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?” prompt.
* Click “OK” to exit.

IE7:

* Click on “Tools” > “Internet Options” > “General” again.
* Click the “Delete…” button.
* Under the heading “Cookies,” click on “Delete cookies…”
* Click “Yes” for the “Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?” prompt.
* Click “Close” to exit.

Firefox 2.0:

* Click on “Tools” > “Options” > “Privacy.”
* Under the “Private Data” heading, click on the “Clear Now” button.
* Click “OK” to exit.

If you still can’t log in and you have already checked that cookies are enabled, cleared your cookies, deleted your cookies and are using a supported browser, try adjusting the privacy setting in your browser.

3. Adjust the Privacy Setting

If you have your browser’s privacy settings set to “high” you may be unable to access Production Weekly. To resolve this problem, please add aila.org to your browser’s list of allowed sites. Here are instructions for how to add allowed sites in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE):

* Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Internet Options.”
* Click on the “Privacy” tab.
* Click the “Sites…” button and type www.productionweekly.com in the “Address of Web site” section.
* Click “Allow.”
* Click “OK.”

4. Firewall Adjustments

If you’re accessing Production Weekly from behind a firewall, proxy, or anti-virus program, temporarily disable the program and try logging on to Production Weekly. If disabling this program resolves the problem, we suggest consulting the program’s online support center for assistance on how to configure it in a way that will still allow you to access Production Weekly.

Note that if you’re using a work computer, the problem may be related to your computer’s corporate security settings. We suggest asking your system administrator.
